An elegant luncheon sponsored by the Foundation/Atherton Dames, to celebrate Valentines.

EASTER EGG HUNT - APRIL, 2011;  10:00 AM Park Meadow and Main House Patio

This event is always a sell-out, with hundreds of children and parents coming for the Hunt.   The Easter Bunny greets the kids and stays for photographs, magicians and clowns entertain the crowd, and of course a coffee bar with lots of refreshments is laid out for children and adults.

Holbrook-Palmer Park BEAUTIFICATION DAY            April, 2012, 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

The beautification activities will focus on 6 new landscaping projects at the park including planting trees, bushes, ground cover.  A Barbecue for the volunteers and the dedication by the City Council of the new "William Conwell Pedestrian Walking Bridge" and the Landscaping Lawn area between the Pavilion and Water Tower will be part of the day's activities.

FALL BARBECUE - SEPTEMBER, 2011

The Foundation/Atherton Dames sponsor an Annual Fall Barbecue at the Park every September.  They have entertainment, prizes, a Silent and Live auction, and a lot of fun things for the children to do.  

CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS TEA - DECEMBER, 2011 Jennings Pavilion

This is another sell-out annual event that the Atherton Dames host at Christmas time.   Children and their parents arrive in their finest attire for an elegant tea.  Santa appears for pictures, and amusement and goodies keep the children entertained.  Each child is encouraged to bring a wrapped gift to be donated to a children's charity.
